By installing the AI Summary Chrome extension or using the aisummary.site website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AI Summary provides AI-powered tools for YouTube videos, including but not limited to:

  • Summarization (Short, Normal, Long);
  • Timestamped navigation;
  • Comments sentiment analysis;
  • Clean transcripts;
  • Interactive "Ask AI" chat functionality;
  • Exporting data to Notion, Google Docs, PDF, and other formats.

3. User Accounts

To access Pro features, you must sign in via Google Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

We offer several tiers of service:

  • Free Version: Limited access to basic summary features.
  • Monthly PRO: $9.99 per month.
  • Yearly PRO: $59.90 per year.
  • Promotional Offers: From time to time, we may offer a special 1-month PRO trial for $4.99.

Payments are processed through LemonSqueezy or Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your provided payment method.

5. 7-Day Free Trial

  • The Yearly PRO plan includes a 7-day free trial.
  • You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
  • You can cancel at any time during the 7 days to avoid being charged.
  • If you do not cancel, the annual subscription fee will be automatically billed on the 8th day.

6. "No Questions Asked" Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of AI Summary. If you're not satisfied, we'll provide a refund without question.

  • To request a refund, please contact us at support@aisummary.site within 14 days of your purchase.
  • Refunds are issued through the original payment provider (LemonSqueezy or Stripe).

7. AI Output Disclaimer

AI Summary uses advanced models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. We do not guarantee the absolute correctness of any summary or answer provided by the AI. Users should verify critical information independently.

8. Use of Service & Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the extension;
  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes;
  • Circumvent or bypass any usage limits or paywalls.

9. Intellectual Property

The Extension, website, and all original content (excluding user-provided transcripts and AI-generated outputs) remain the exclusive property of AI Summary.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
